Favorite couplets, part 1

Sleeping under a table in a roadside park
A man could wake up dead

I lay my head on the wheel and the horn begins honkin'
The whole neighborhood knows I'm home drunk again

Daddy left 'em both soakin' up the sawdust on the floor

Somewhere I'll find him, and I'll have peace of mind
The box he comes home in will be all satin lined

Thank you for listening to my trouble
Pardon me, I've got someone to kill
